The library will host FBI victim specialist, Karen Gale, on Monday, September 25th at 6:00 p.m. The program will focus on what parents and caregivers need to know about internet safety. Gale will discuss the risks children face online and shares what parents need to know to protect them. This presentation will cover cyberbullying, online predators, sexting, exposure to inappropriate materials, and privacy issues. Gale has worked for the FBI since 2005, providing services to victims of federal crimes. She has been deployed to several mass casualty incidents around the country, including the Sandy Hook school and Pulse Nightclub shootings.
