    Mark your calendar and get your registration in for this trail race and fun run/walk event! Participants will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the preserve while running in a 6K race or a 3K run/walk. Proceeds from the trail race will serve to benefit the non-profit group, Jasper Conservation Connection.

    September 25, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Newton Public Library

    FBI victim specialist, Karen Gale discusses the risks children face online and shares what parents and caregivers need to know to protect them. This presentation covers cyberbullying, online predators, sexting, exposure to inappropriate materials, and privacy issues. Gale has worked for the FBI since 2005, providing services to victims of federal crimes. She has been deployed to several mass casualty incidents around the country, including the Sandy Hook school and Pulse Nightclub shootings. Karen has provided training and informational presentations to thousands of individuals, schools, and businesses throughout Iowa.
