  1. Friday Flicks - Pocahontas

    July 28, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM @ Newton Public Library

    Family friendly movie in the library meeting room! Bring your own popcorn, beverages are provided. Seating is on the floor, and attendees may bring a pillow if they like. All movies have a G or PG rating. Library policy is that children age 10 and under must have an adult guardian present in the building. The movie for Friday, July 28th is Pocahontas, 91 minutes.

  2. Summer Reading Pool Party

    July 28, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM @ Maytag Pool

    Turn in your library Summer Reading book log by July 28th to receive your ticket for the pool party! Party will be held at Maytag pool, with pizza provided by Scott Creech and Domino's. This event is a reward for children who have finished the summer reading program, and children must have a ticket to attend. One slice of pizza per child. Pizza will be served at 6:30 pm, swimming is scheduled from 7:00-9:00 pm.

This informative program will discuss current drug trends, signs of abuse, disposal methods for prescription opioids, and prevention efforts in your own community.
