    The Newton Public Library is collecting NEW cold weather clothing for kids ages 6-18! Donated clothing will be given to Newton schools, to be distributed to local children in need. Items being collected include: Sweaters & sweatshirts Gloves, hats & coats Socks & scarves

  2. Baby Storytime

    Join our Youth Services Librarian, Phyllis Peter, on Monday mornings for a special storytime designed for the youngest members of the family! Baby storytime provides a gentle and fun introduction to literacy through songs, stories, and finger plays. For newborns to 18 months with a parent or caregiver (siblings are welcome). Storytime begins at 10:30 am, then stay for play and social time after the program!

  3. Evening Storytime

    October 15, 2018, 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ Newton Public Library

    Volunteer Jess Moore, and education student at Drake University, will share stories with children in the storytime room. This program is suggested for children ages 3 to 9. Storytime includes books, music, and a very simple craft. No registration necessary.
