  1. DIY @ the Library: Marimo Water Gardens

    Make your own decorative Marimo water habitat in a jar! Marimo are living freshwater algae balls that grow naturally in lakes in Europe and Japan, but can easily be kept in jars or fish tanks too. These Marimo balls make the perfect plant "pet", as minimal care is needed; they thrive on indirect sunlight and a monthly water change! All materials will be provided, but attendees are encourage to bring a small glass container, if they have one they would like to use. This program is first come, first served and spaces are limited. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Ages 18+
