Media Inquiries, Interviews & Requests

Reporters, film crews, editors, producers, and persons in similar occupations should contact and work directly with Danielle Rogers, Newton's Community Marketing Manager. Danielle will assist you in scheduling interviews with staff and elected officials as well as allocating resources and finding locations for filming in Newton. The Community Marketing Manager serves as the City's Public Information Officer and ensures that the Newton community is kept well informed by helping to promote awareness of events, programs, initiatives, services, and opportunities in the community. History and Role

A communications and marketing role was formally added to the City organization in 2017. This role supports the City of Newton's strategic priorities and the organizational mission of providing excellent services in the most fiscally responsible manner.

About the City's Communication Efforts

The City's external and internal communications efforts are led by Danielle Rogers, Community Marketing Manager. Internally, she has access to staff members from each department to provide departmental and professional perspectives on requests this includes the Newton Police Department and the Newton Fire Department.
