Genealogy/Obituary Research

Obituary/genealogy requests can be made by mail, telephone, e-mail, or in person. Requests will be processed during regular business hours as staff time allows. A research fee of $10.00 per hour will be charged for searches, with a one hour minimum. If search results can be sent to the requester by e-mail, no additional charges will be applied. If the results are mailed, a charge of $0.10 per page plus the required USPS postage rate will be charged. An invoice will be sent with the results. Genealogy/obituary requests from other libraries are done as interlibrary loan requests at no charge to the patron or the library.
