Brad Hansen, Water Pollution Control Operations and Maintenance Supervisor, recently received his Iowa DNR Grade IV Wastewater operator certification.
To receive the certification, Hansen had to complete and pass an exam from the Iowa DNR.
Grade IV is the highest operator certification obtainable. It is the required certification level for the “operator in charge” of a Grade IV WPC plant, which is what the City of Newton operates.
