The Newton Fire Department will start annual hydrant testing starting Monday, June 29 in the eastern part of the community. This year’s area is E 8th Street and east.
The Newton Fire Department will make every effort to work the testing to minimize the amount of debris stirred up in the water, discolored water is a possibility during testing.
