The winter season is coming to an end, but it has brought potholes to streets across the City. Potholes are formed when moisture seeps into the pavement, freezes, expands and then thaws. This weakens the pavement, then as cars and other traffic drives over it, it loosens even more. Eventually, the asphalt pavement breaks up and pops out, usually appearing in early spring. The City has already identified areas of concern and is expecting more calls within the coming days and weeks. City crews will be repairing potholes and they will continue to be out addressing them as conditions allow.
Report a pothole through the City's RequestTracker.
