If you've been thinking about scanning your old family photos, scrapbooks, and paper heirlooms, this is your opportunity. The Memory Lab is a digitization station that has all the equipment you need to scan and create digital copies of photographs, film negatives, slides, scrapbooks, and other paper documents. The lab is free to use and is available during regular library hours.
If you have questions about the Library Memory Lab, or would like to schedule an appointment for instruction on using the equipment, please contact Public Services Librarian, Becca Klein, at 641-792-4108. One-on-one appointments are also available for guidance on starting your digitization project, or just swing by during our staffed Memory Lab drop-in hours on Tuesday mornings, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Memory Lab was made possible through the generous support of the Jasper Community Foundation. You can learn more about the Jasper Community Foundation and their current projects at www.jaspercommunityfoundation.org.
