Join us for an E-Tour of southwest Newton to learn about the Maytag family and other notable Newtonians instrumental in making Newton "The Washing Machine Capital of the World."
Local historian and researcher, Dr. Tom Hoover, will use the historic photographs as a backdrop to share the story of the growth of the washing machine manufacturing industry in Newton.
