Nathan Unsworth, Administrative Superintendent, recently completed the Certified Public Manager Course through Drake University. The 18-month course designed for public sector employees included topics such as human resources, economic development and urban planning, creative management, public sector budgeting, and project management. In addition to course work, students were required to complete a group project at the end of the course. As a graduate of the program, Nathan is now recognized as a Certified Public Manager. There are currently over 500 Certified Public Managers working for municipalities, state agencies, and other government entities throughout the State of Iowa.
