Newton pet owners are being reminded that 2018 animal licenses must be purchased by March 29, 2018, to avoid a late fee of $20.00. Licenses are available at the Newton Police Department - Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The license fee for altered animals is $15.00. The license fee for unaltered animals is $25.00.
