[ARCHIVED] Newton Community School District to Test Emergency Weather Notification System

Newton Community School District

You may receive an Emergency Weather Notification TEST from the Newton School District between 9 and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19. The schools are TESTING the system they use to notify parents in the event of a school closing or delay due to weather. Remember, this is just a TEST. The TEST notification will come over your cell phone or in your e-mail. Please do not call the schools tomorrow - this is just a test.

If you do not receive this notification on December 19th, you may want to register to receive such announcements. Here is how you can do that:

Go to the http://www.newtoncsd.org.
Choose Parents > Sign up for News & Information > Create A New Account

You can also visit: http://www.newtoncsd.org//protected/publicuserlogin.aspx to access the "Create A New Account" link.

If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to the Newton Community School District Office at 641-792-5809.
