On February 1st, 7th and 8th graders from Mrs. McBride’s class at Newton Christian School visited early in the morning, before the library was open to the public. Students were working on writing a research paper, and Youth Services Librarian Phyllis Peter gave them instruction on using the library catalog to search for materials and an overview of databases available at the library for them to use. The students then had time to use library computers to search databases and the catalog to find books to check out on their chosen research topics.
