The Community Services Division has begun work on the engineering consultant selection process for the next five calendar years. This process, which is required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), allows the City to secure federal funding grants for airport projects. A request for qualifications will be sent out to numerous aviation consultants soon, with the scoring of all proposals received to occur in late October. The successful engineering consultant will assist the City with grants, project design and administration, and other aviation items through December 31, 2023.
