The City of Newton will host three public information meetings on a proposed stormwater utility on November 27, December 6 and December 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The proposed stormwater utility will be a dedicated funding stream for stormwater-related issues. The new utility will enable Newton to proactively manage stormwater issues and fix or replace aging infrastructure. More information about the stormwater utility will be available on the City of Newton website prior to the meetings.
At the public information meetings, Public Works will provide an overview of the stormwater utility and answer questions from the public.
