[ARCHIVED] March Cops And Neighborhoods United Informational Meeting

Neighborhood Zone Map

The Newton Police Department has rescheduled the Zone 6 Informational Meeting that was canceled due to winter weather.

The meeting will take place on March 28 at 6 p.m. at Community Heights Alliance Church at 2500 S 13th Ave E.

The Zone 6 Meeting will allow citizens of that zone a chance to connect with Officers Eckert and Harden.

What is Cops And Neighborhoods United?

The Newton Police Department is dedicated to working with citizens to make their neighborhoods the safest places to live. In order to accomplish this, the Newton Police Department has developed the Cops And Neighborhoods United program. This program works to develop relationships between our police officers and the citizens that we serve. Click here to learn more about the program.

Don't Know What Zone You Live In?

Using a grid system already used by the police department to track crime rates and traffic issues, officers have been assigned to each area of Newton. The City of Newton has been broken down into 6 zones as shown in the image to the right. You can view a larger map by clicking here.
