As part of the budget process a shifting of positions was transacted resulting in not replacing the Fire Marshal and adding two line staff. This will bring our daily staffing to a minimum of six firefighter/paramedics by the time all are on board and properly trained. Testing was completed on May 11 and interviews followed on May 16. This testing round yielded 11 candidates for the upcoming hiring. It is expected the new hires will start around the end of June.
