  4. Statewide Tornado Drill

    March 24, 2021, 11:00 AM

    As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, which is March 22 - March 26, a statewide tornado drill will occur Wednesday, March 24. A test drill will be issued at 11 a.m. through the National Weather Service. During this test, people are encouraged to practice any actions that would be taken in the event of a real tornado.

    Wondering what to read next? Check out our new monthly mystery bags for adults! Mystery bags have a different theme every month and contain a surprise selection of 4-5 books and movies, an adult craft, and other treats. Return the books and movies when you're done with them - keep the other goodies! March's theme is "Magical Worlds". The March bag will contain a literary fantasy novel and a selection of stories about magic, fairy tales, and folklore. The craft is a miniature "Alice in Wonderland" Altoid tin diorama.
