    The Proud to Know Newton radio show, hosted by Craig Armstrong and produced by KCOB, is aired every Thursday at 6 p.m. on KCOB 95.9 FM & AM 1280. The 30 minute show features an interview with a special guest about their organization, work or event. Guests range from City employees, non-profits, event organizers and business owners. Details for each show are posted online each week and the show is available to stream on KCOB's website.

  2. TPI Pride 5K Color Run/Walk Sign Up

    June 26, 2021, 9:00 AM @ Maytag Park

    TPI is hosting a Pride 5K Color Run/Walk here in Newton on Saturday, June 26 starting at Maytag Park. Registration is at 8 am and the run/walk will start promptly at 9 am. This event is open to anyone in the community. Adults will be $25 and children under the age of 18 will be $10. All proceeds from this event will go to The Trevor Project, a national organization that help teens who identify with the LGBTQIA community access mental health resources. To learn more, visit thetrevorproject.org. I would truly appreciate if everyone could share this at their workplace and share our post on social media.
